摘 要:随着联通WCDMA精品网络在城区、县城等区域逐渐完善覆盖,用户品牌也得到了稳步提高。但随着用户规模的不断增加,用户对WCDMA网络广覆盖、深覆盖的期望日趋强烈,由此导致的投诉也呈逐渐增加的趋势。由于国内WCDMA网络目前还只能承载在2 GHz频段以及WCDMA网自身多业务的特点,导致WCDMA网络实现广覆盖必然带来成本过高的劣势。因此如何通过在900 MHz的3G UMTS移动通信系统,提高WCDMA网络覆盖能力,减少WCDMA新建站址的需求,加快建设进度,提高网络核心竞争力至关重要。针对UMTS900M系统广覆盖的不同场景提出了几种方案,作为UMTS 900M系统建设方式经验推广和参考。While the WCDMA network of china unicom has been greatly improving in the city anti county, the brand image has also been steadily improving. But with the increasing scale of users, wide and deep coverage of the WCDMA network has been expected more and more intense and the complaint has been growing as else. Because the WCDMA network can only be carried on the 2GHz band in our country ,as well as its multi-business characteristic, s, the construction cost will be very high to achieve wide coverage. On the other hand, the UMTS 900MHz has a small loss, which can reduce the number of the base stations, and the progress of the construction will be speed up too. So how to improve the capacity of the WCDMA network carried on 900MHz is very' crucial. This paper presents several different scenarios applications for wide coverage of UMTS 900MHz system as a reference of the promotion and construction of the UMTS 900MHz system.
