摘　　要：运用翔实的文献资料,采用历史分析、比较分析、考察访谈等方法,对农村体育概念、农村体育主体、农村体育内容、农村体育功能等问题进行研究,目的是深度剖析困扰农村体育的各种似是而非的问题,揭示农村体育的内涵与外延,廓清农村体育的主体与内容,并阐明农村体育的功能。结论:农村存在丰富多彩的体育内容与形式;农村体育的概念比农民体育更具有普遍性;农村体育的主体是广泛意义上的农村居民,而不仅仅局限于农民;农村体育的功能已经超越了"强身健体"等原初属性,而表现为一种精神文化建设的载体,并最终为建设幸福中国作出其独特的贡献。With the detailed information and documents, by the methods of historical and comparative analysis and interview, this paper makes deep analysis on the definition, subject, content and function of rural sports. The aim of this paper is to deeply clarify the confusing issues in rural sports, review the connotation and extension of rural sports, clarify the subject and content of rural sports and explain the function of rural sports. Conclusion： 3＇he countryside has rich and diversified sports content and form. The concept of rural sports is much broader than the peasant sports. The subject of rural sports is the rural citizens in the broader definition, but not limited to peas-ants. The functions of rural sports have surpassed its original nature of body building. It is reflected in the spiritu-al cultural building cartier and it ultimately contributes to the building of happiness China.
