摘　　要：美国黑人文学对黑人在美国社会中“双重身份局外人”的位置有过广泛的揭露，并深刻剖析过其中的原因，揭示出政治经济力量上的弱势、主流社会在“西方文化优越论”支持下的文化霸权、愚民政策和文化欺骗的阻碍是造成黑人文化和文学处于边缘地位的原因，并指出反抗主流社会的文化霸权，提高民族意识，树立民族自尊心和自豪感，增强民族凝聚力是黑人文化与文学的主要使命，也是黑人民族解放不可或缺的重要内容。Afro-American literature has done a lot of work revealing Afro-Americans＇ status of ＇ double-i- dentitied outsiders of America society＇ By analyzing the phenomenon, they pointed out that being the disadvantaged party financially, cultural supremacy implemented by the mainstream under the support of Western cultural superiority, obscurantism policy and cultural deceive are the reasons which caused Afro -Americans＇ culture and literature in marginal status. They summoned that to strike back mainstream＇ cultural supremacy, improve ethnic awareness, build up ethnic dignity and pride, enhance ethnic cohe- siveness, are the major missions of Afro-American culture and literature, and an indispensible content of Afro-American ethnic liberty.
