[Objective] To evaluate the treatment effect by combining with antibiotics before surgery and seek the method for improving the rate of postoperative plasmocytic acute mastitis of I phase wound healing. [ Methods ] A retrospective review was conducted for 75 patients with plasmocytic acute mastitis which were final diagnosed pathologically and the clinical manifestation of which were local flare and thermalgia from January 2006 to December 2010 in Xiangya hospital of Central South University. The cases were all under surgical treatment which divided into the treatment group combined with antibiotics before surgery and comparison group simple operated. Compare the I phase wound healing rate between two groups by follow-up one month after the surgery and make the subgroup anal- ysis in treatment group. [Results] I phase wound healing rate in treatment group is 62.7% which is significantly higher than comparison group with 33.3%(P =0.017). I phase wound healing rate of three groups in the treatment group has no significant difference(P =0.965). [Conclusion] The combination of antibiotics before surgery can improve postoperative plasmocytic acute mastitis of I phase wound healing rate.
