摘　　要："社会体育"概念是我国群众体育运动发展的产物,也是对"群众体育"概念的一种完善与发展。"社会体育"概念的时代意义主要表现为它与公共体育服务体系在理论基础、供给主体、服务客体、手段与内容以及供给模式等方面具有一致性。The concept of ＂Social Sport＂, which can be regarded as an improvement or the concept of ＂Mass Sport＂ is the result of the developemt of Mass sports in our country. The value of the concept of ＂Mass Sport＂ is reflected on the consistency between it and the public sports service system in related theory, service providers, service object, methods, contents and the providing mode.
