南社与近代新闻报刊业的契合——以《民国日报》(1916—1924)为例

摘　　要：《民国日报》是近代颇有影响的报刊,该报的新闻编辑群体基本由南社精英组成。这些新闻健将负责维持报社的日常运营,同时又执笔撰文发表在该报,阐释其革命政见和文学主张,可以说该报是南社社员发表作品、表达思想和交流情感的舆论阵地,而南社内部分裂与重组的发展动态也与之密切相关。南社人坚持以文字鼓吹革命,积极投身于新闻报刊业,他们把南社精神贯注于办报的理念和思想中,成功地创办和主编了多份近代报刊杂志,始终走在中国近代新闻出版业的前沿。Republic Daily was quite influential newspaper in contemporary China, whose chief news editors were also Nanshe elites. Besides taking charge of the newspaper＇ s daily operation, they also wrote essays illustrating their revolutionary political views and literary principles to appear in the paper. It can be said that the newspaper offered great opportunities for Nanshe mem- bers to publish their works, to express their viewpoints, and to communicate with each other. Thus, the internal fissions and fu- sions are also closely related to their development. Nanshe members insisted on pushing forward revolution with their writing, so they actively engaged in press industry, and carried out Nanshe thoughts in their guiding principle and daily operation. They suc- cessfully founded and edited several newspapers and magazines, always standing at the forefront in modem China＇ s press indus-
