摘　　要：东京都市圈作为世界五大都市圈之一,其演化历程和发展机制一直是研究者关注和探讨的对象。在以往研究的基础上,本文分析了东京都市圈演化与发展的3个主要阶段和"绿环带+新城"的效仿特征、"一极集中"的开发特征、"多心多核"的地域开发特征、"多心多核"的扩展特征等;并从地理、人口、交通、经济四个方面论述了东京都市圈演化过程的四个动力因素;总结了区域竞争机制、统筹规划机制、政府管理机制、市场协调机制等发展机制。As one of the five largest metropolitan areas in the world, the evolution and development mechanism of Tokyo metropolitan area has continuously absorbed common concerns of scholars. Based upon the previous studies, this paper analyzes three main development stages and characters including green belt ＆ new town imitations character, one polar concentration development character, multiple sub -centers regional development character and multiple sub - centers spatial expansion character. Meanwhile, this paper expounds four driving factors of evolution of Tokyo metropolitan area from the aspects of geography, population, transportation and economy and summarizes the development mechanism of Tokyo metropolitan area, including regional competition mechanism, integration planning mechanism, government management mechanism, market coordination mechanism, etc.
