摘 要:提出了一种基于半导体光放大器(SOA)中增益饱和效应产生doublet信号源的方案。在该方案中,高斯脉冲光信号沿传输方向从SOA的左侧输入,doublet信号从SOA的右侧输出,光带通滤波器用来滤除自发辐射噪声(ASE)。此外,该方案只使用了一个光源和SOA,具有结构简单、易于控制,且不需要复杂的色散管理。利用Opti-system7.0软件进行了仿真研究,分析了消光比、脉冲宽度、输入信号功率、调制速率、光源波长等参数对产生的dou-blet信号的影响。结果表明该方案对输入信号波长不敏感,给出了相关参数的优化范围。A scheme is proposed to generate doublet signal using gain saturation effect in a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA). In this scheme, the input gauss optical pulse is injected into SOA from the left hand along the transmission direction and the doublet signal is obtained at the fight side. An optical band- pass filter is employed to filter spontaneous emission noise. The scheme is simple and easy to operate. On- ly one optical source and an SOA are used and the dispersion management is not complicated. Using soft- ware OptisystemT. 0, a study is made on the impacts of the input signal extinction ratio, the optical power, the pulse width and the wavelength on the generated doublet signal. The results have shown that this scheme is insensitive to the wavelength change. In addition, the optimized scope of input optical power, the injection of the SOA and the extinction ratio are presented.
