摘　　要：On the afternoon of February 21, Mr. Steele was invited by SAC Administrator Chen Gang as the distinguished guest to attend the annual China National Standardization Working Conference held in Beijing, and he delivered a passionate speech on the conference. Mr. Steele congratulated China for the achievements made in standardization work, he interpreted innovation＇s important role in standardization work, and introduced,duced ISO＇s work philosphy of＂Simpler, Faster and Better＂, as well as the innovation work ISO has done.
