摘　　要：沃尔夫的语言相关性思想认为,语言型式在语言者思维活动中具有重要的影响作用。对它进行正确解读,有助于消除人们对语言相关性思想的误解和误读,有助于对语言与思维关系的深入研究,有助于语言相关性思想的合理应用。根据沃尔夫本人的思想、一些学者的研究成果以及语言学和认知语言学的一些理论和观点,本文认为,语言相关性相对独立和完善的思想,是研究语言与思维关系的一种重要理论视角和方法,它揭示了语言的认知功能,蕴涵着丰富的语言学意义。Linguistic relativity （ or Whorfian hypothesis） values the role of linguistic patterns ing. Interpreting it correctly can help to avoid misunderstanding or misinterpreting it, make a relation between language and thought, and apply it properly. Based on Whorf＇ s ideas, the in speakers＇ think-further study of the researches of other scholars as well as some linguistic and cognitive linguistic theories, it can be concluded that linguistic relativity is characterized by its relatively independent and complete system, unique view and way to study the relation between language and thought, revelation of the cognitive function, and rich implication of linguistic meanings.
