摘　　要：近年来中国大学城的广泛建设,使其成为城市化研究中的热点问题。大学城是社会发展的缩影,同时反映出诸多时空交错的问题。从历史来看,大学本身被视为一种时空隐喻,现今的大学正如巨型大都市。中国大学城形成和发展与空间问题密切相关,很有必要从空间的生产视角进行研究,但国内相关成果很少。本文选择高校密集的南京仙林大学城这一典型案例,将空间的生产理论应用于大学城问题分析,发现大学城发展伴生着多种时空矛盾和社会分化。大学城的空间生产折射出中国大学发展中文化缺失的严重问题。University towns are rapidly developing in China in recent years. It becomes a hot topic so that more and more scholars begin to focus on it. As an epitome of social improvement, university towns also reflect many problems of the crisscrossing time and space. University is re- garded as a metaphor of time-space from a historical point of view. University was clergies＇ village in Cardinal Newman＇s era at the beginning; slowly beqame intellectuals; town according to Flexner; turned into a Multiversity during the period of Clark Kerr, and now is a post-modern metropolis according to Bowman and Kumar. University towns in China are greatly influenced by many factors including economy, society, pol- itics and culture. They have a closely relationship with space. It is necessary that studying university town with the theory of production of space. On the contrary, analogous researches are quite rare in China. This article chooses Xianlin University Town as a typical example, and discovers the course and characteristics of production of its space.
