Two kinds of heroines' images are very special in the narration of the novels about the Cooperation Move- ment. One is the image of "female model" or "female hero" with strong male tendency, the other is the image of the bold and active pursuit of "new farmers" and awakened females. In creating these two kinds of heroines' ima- ges, the writers have adopted the unique technique of gender rhetoric by fitting them into the grand narratives of the revolutionary politics. However, these female protagonists, in the active participation of the revolutionary political movement, have obtained their legal status and meanwhile also lost their self subjectivity.
