摘　　要：阐述现代化新型铁路客运站在区域经济发展中的地位,探讨现代化新型铁路客运站的社会功能主要是城市发展的重要基础,推动城市群的快速发展,商业开发潜力巨大。提出实现这些社会功能的主要途径,即铁路客运站功能开发与地区发展规划紧密衔接,客运站功能开发注重发挥体制作用,探索和创新投融资模式。This paper expounds the role of modern new-type railway passenger station in regional economic development, discusses that the main social function the station is the important base of city development, which promoting the rapid development of city agglomeration and having great business development potential. The paper also puts forward the main approaches of realizing the social function, which include close connection between function development of railway passenger station and regional development plan, paying attention on exerting system role of passenger station function, and discussing and innovating financial mode.
