摘　　要：隐蔽文化是埋藏很深、难以察觉、难以发现的文化,它常位于文化深层结构的最底部,却表达着真正的含义。通过对《红字》中"物""、景"、"色""、话语"等所表达的隐蔽文化的深入解读,透过现象看到本质,使《红字》中的人物再次活灵活现在世人面前,引领读者走进他们的历史,感悟他们的生活!Covert culture is a kind of culture that is hidden deep, hard to observe, and difficult to discover. It usually lies at the lowest bottom of deep cultural structure; however it actually conveys true meaning. Through further analyzing and understanding the covert culture conveyed by objects, settings, colors and utterances in the Scarlet Latter, the article sees through the appearance to get to the essence, making the main figures vividly come to life before the world, leading future generation to learn about their history, and to realize the meaning of their life!
