摘　　要：《祖父在父亲心中》描写了两代知识分子的生存斗争和悲剧命运。在这两代人的身上,有着截然不同的人格特征:祖父执守刚毅"勇士一般"死去;父亲却如懦夫一样委靡孱弱。这部小说,不仅对两代知识分子的性格特点进行了严肃的历史思考,而且试图通过人物形象的类比、虚实结合的描摹,来解析早已留存于知识分子灵魂中的传统文化精神,进而,在更本质的层面上,彰显出特定的历史年代和特殊的社会环境对知识分子的"表里"人格所造成的深刻影响。The novel Grandfather Lives In Father＇s Heart depicts the struggle for survival and the tragic fate of two genera- tions of intellectuals. Distinct personality traits are shown in these two generations： Grandfather is like a warrior, and Fa- ther is like a coward. This novel not only ponders the two generations of intellectuals from the historical perspective, but al- so interprets the traditional cultural spirit in their souls by analogies between two characters so as to manifest the profound impact on intellectuals＇ humanity caused by the particular historical era and social environment.
