As two 20th century Russian poets with intimate relationship and strong personality, after the October Revolution, B. Pasternak and M. Tsvetaeva have been on "two-sides" of Russian literature and kept peculiar mutual literary dialogues through letters, comments and works. The comments of M. Tsvetaeva on B. Pasternak' s poems manifest her profound understanding to her friend' s soul and talent, and keen perception and expressiveness of poet on poet. On the other side, through the writing of destiny of whole generation, B. Pasternak' s works could be looked upon as a long and wide river full of memory and imagination, inquiries and thinking, metaphor and consonance. With the dialogues between the two poets, both the blood relationship between "two - sides" of Russian literature and the prosperity of 20th century Russian literature have been presented more distinctly.
