摘 要:提出了制备渗铁PAN碳纤维的一种新方法,研究了铁元素对碳纤维热行为的影响,探讨了铁元素对碳纤维热行为影响机理。结果表明,在初生纤维上浸渍Fe2(SO4)3/DMSO溶液的方法制备得到的PAN碳纤维中元素铁含量在0.26%以上,其在纤维截面上分布均匀。铁元素对碳纤维热稳定性影响与碳纤维经历的热历史有关,在1700℃以上热处理过的渗铁碳纤维热稳定性较之2200℃热处理过的碳纤维热稳定性高。同时,铁元素对碳纤维热稳定性表现出浓度效应,碳纤维中铁浓度在49μg/g以上时,碳纤维耐热氧化能力随铁元素浓度的升高而降低。研究还表明,铁元素能降低了PAN碳纤维表面C1s费米能级,从而提高了碳纤维耐热氧化性。A noval method in the preparation of iron alloyed PAN based carbon fiber was proposed,and effect mechanism of iron on thermal behavior of PAN based carbon fibers was investigated.The results show that by impregnating as-spun fiber into Fe2(SO4)3/DMSO solution,the concentration of element iron in carbon fiber is 0.26% and it is distributed on the cross section of the fiber evenly.Effect of iron on thermal stability of carbon fiber is related to the heat treatment temperature of the specimen experienced.After the heat treatment at temperature of 1700 ℃,carbon fiber alloyed with iron shows a better anti-oxidation property than that of carbon fiber experienced a heat treatment temperature of 2200 ℃.Meanwhile,the thermal stability of carbon fiber increases with the increasing concentration of element iron in fibers,however,when the concentration of iron is more than 49 μg/g,the thermal stability decreases linearly.XPS results suggest that the iron alloying decreases the Fermi energy of the surface state of carbon fibers leading to a higher anti-oxidation property.
