摘　　要：文章借鉴国内外典型工矿城市的的调整模式 ,以金昌市为例 。The expansion of mining cities is based on exploitation of mineral resources, and it's important to promote the industrialization and urbanization of China. In the current situation of the country, development of mining cities has its own characteristics,i.e.,the state fully supports mining cities to rise abruptly, mining cities are the isolated islands in a region, and the prosperity of the cities is determined by their unitary dominant industry. At present the sustainable development of many mining cities are faced with the crisis of rapid exhaustion of their resources. With the experiences of the typical mining cities of foreign countries and China for references, Jinchang City is taken as an example to analyze the mechanism of adjustment in the mining cities.
