摘　　要：我国正处于高速城镇化的进程中,建设现代化大都市,这是不少城市的热门话题。近三十年的快速发展使岭南地区的城市正在趋同,千城一面,失去原有的岭南特色。步入2012年,为传承与弘扬岭南特色城市建设,为推进世界文化名城的建设,走新型城市化的发展道路,岭南地区先后启动了岭南特色规划与建筑设计评优活动,开展传承与弘扬岭南文化的培训、发布《岭南特色城市设计与建筑指南》,从而标志着岭南特色城市建设进入了应用与推广的阶段。作为岭南特色城市建设的基础研究,该项目①在岭南特色的识别、基础案例的收集、岭南特色城市设计元素汇编及方法指引上做出了关键性的突破,填补了岭南特色城市建设在城市设计方面的空白。As our country has been involved in a process of high-speed urbanization, therefore, building up modern metropolis is a hot topic among many cities. In the rapid development of the past thirty years, the city characteristics of Ling-Nan area have become similar and lose the original features. Stepping into 2012, inheriting and developing urban construction with Ling- Nan characteristics, to promote the world cultural city construction and to develop the new urbanization, the Ling-Nan area has held the competition of Ling-Nan characteristics urban planning and architecture, started to train for the inheritance and development of Ling-Nan culture and issued Guidelines for urban design and architectural design with Ling-Nan characteristics in Guangzhou. This means the urban construction with Ling-Nan characteristics has entered the stage of application and promotion. As a basic research of the urban construction with Ling- Nan characteristics, this article makes a crucial breakthrough on the recognition of Ling-Nan characteristics, case study, element assembly and guidelines of Ling-Nan characteristics in urban design, which fill the blank of urban construction with Ling-Nan characteristics in urban design.
