Retrospective analysis of postoperative constipation in colorectal cancer patients

摘　　要：（新华社记者穆黎明、搜狐网记者王德民、世界内镜医师网郭仪）10月3日，医学多专科内镜与微创医师“奥运会”，第4届世界内镜医师大会在乌克兰首都基辅隆重召开。世界内镜医师协会主席（中国籍）、中国首位当选乌克兰国家医学科学骁外籍院士、中国卫生部肝胆肠外科研究中心主任、中南大学生物医学工程研究院院长张阳德教授主持召开本届大会。[ Objective ] To investigate the relationship between the incidence of postoperative constipation and the operation site and operation mode for coloreetal cancer. [Methods] The data of 132 cases, who received colonoscopy after surgery for coloreetal cancer from June 2004 to July 2005, were retrospectively analyzed. [ Re- suits] The postoperative constipation rates of radical right hemieolectomy, radical left hemicoleetomy, radical sig- moidectomy and rectal anterior resection were 4.00%, 6.25%, 11.11% and 32.88%, respectively. The postoperative constipation rates of upper-site group, lower-site group and uhralower-site group were 20.00%, 26.32% and 41.03%, respectively （P 〈0.05）.The postoperative constipation rates of large-size anastomat group and small-size anastomat group were 28.57% and 35.56%, respectively （P 〈0.05）. [ Conclusion] Postoperative constipation mainly appears in the patients with rectal cancer, especially in those with uhralower-site rectal cancer. The constipation rate is higher in small-size anastomat group than in large-size anastomat group.
