摘　　要：18世纪英国女性小说家为揭示女性的社会现状,抒写女性心理和发出女性声音付出了不懈的努力。她们一方面体现了质疑和僭越性别规范、建构女性自我身份的精神,另一方面为实现自我,她们只能披着传统女德的外衣,在既定道德文化维护与新的道德秩序建立之间采取一种含混的立场。The women novelists in 18th century Britain made their efforts to reveal women＇s poor living condition, express their mentality and make their voice heard. On one hand, they questioned and transgressed the gender stereotypes and tried to construct their self-identity, but on the other, they had to take a paradoxical attitude towards the established femininity.
