Intra Industry Trade between China and Korea on Global Production Networks——The Case study of Manufacturing Industry

摘　　要：本文以中韩主要制成品产业内贸易为例,从全球生产网络的背景下解释FDI、加工贸易和公司内贸易对中韩产业内贸易的影响机制。结论是,中韩两国产业内贸易以垂直型为主,这种主要以垂直生产链建立起来的中韩生产网络必然带来加工贸易往来和公司内贸易规模的扩大,而这又必然促进中韩产业内贸易的快速发展。Focusing on manufacturing industries in China and South Korea, this papar examines how they are significant for trade between China and South Korea. This paper also analyzes about the level of the intra-industry trade between two countries. Furthermore, it considers the mechanism of intra-industry trade between China and South Korea. This consideration is mainly carried out in terms of FDI based on global production net- work, processing trade, and intra firm trade. This paper concludes that intra-industry trade between China and Sotuh Korea represents typical characteristics of vertical intra industry trade. In fact, the vertical production chain of China and South Korea＇s trade was led to creation of global production network within the relations be- tween China and South Korea. Consequently, both the processing trade and the intra firm trade came to grow in two countries. These factors could accelerate the development of intra-industry trade between China and South Korea at last.
