摘　　要：尽管比利时人语言学习负担很重,但汉语在比利时得到了极大的重视,并得以广泛推广。鲁汶大学(K.U.Leuven)和根特大学(Gent University)作为有着悠久的汉学研究及汉语教育历史的高校,其汉学系所取得的成绩在一定程度上代表了比利时高校汉学研究及汉语教育所取得的辉煌成就。目前这两所高校汉学研究及汉语教育的现状也代表了比利时高校汉学研究及汉语教育发展的主流方向。It is a heavy task that Belgian people have to learn several languages, but the Chinese language still attached great importance and has been promoted widely in Belgium. Leuven University （ K. U. Leuven） and Ghent University （UGent） are famous higher education institutions with long history of Sinology studies and Chinese education in Belgium and even in Europe. The achievements of their Sinology Departments, in a certain extent, represent the brilliant achievements of Belgian higher institutions for Sinology studies and Chinese education. The current status of Sinology Studies and Chinese education in the two universities also represents the mainstream development of Sinology Studies and Chinese education in Belgium.
