摘　　要：古罗马竞技是古罗马文化的重要组成部分。通过对古罗马竞技类型的阐述和对古罗马竞技兴盛进行解读,认为古罗马社会独特的物质基础、社会制度和精神元素,是古罗马竞技兴盛的主要原因。Ancient Roman sports culture is an important part of ancient Roman civilization. Based on the analysis of the types of and on the interpretation of the ancient Roman sports culture, this paper holds the view that the ancient Roman material foundation, social system and spiritual elements account for the prosperity of the ancient Roman sports.
