摘　　要：情态副词表示说话人对命题、事件的主观认识;关系副词是指对两个句子或小句有某种连接作用的副词;情态副词中也有表示关系的小类,关系类情态副词既能够表示说话人的主观性态度,也可以表示小句之间的各种关系,这种类似连词的用法,说明副词的内部分类和外部分界呈现出复杂交错的局面。Modal adverbs indicate the speaker＇s subjective understanding to propositions and events,and cconjunctive adverbs are those which can connect two sentences or clauses.There are some kinds of conjunctive subdivisions in modal adverbs which can both indicate the speaker＇s subjective attitude and express all kinds of relationships between sentences or clauses.All relationships represented by conjunctive subdivisions in modal adverbs are analyzed to show that internal subdivisions and external bounds of adverbs are very complicated.
