摘 要:《论语·子路》篇"樊迟请学稼"一章,文字比较浅显明白,而诸家注释多有歧异。结合孔子的仁德思想、教育方法、汲汲求仕的经历及其政治理想,力图恢复语录体的载记方式所省略的相关背景,探求孔子之本意及用心所在。孔子对樊迟请学稼的批评,在方法上,与其一贯的因材施教、循循善诱相一致;在思想上,则是批评樊迟迷惑于神农之言、稼穑为治本的异端之学,而坚持其一贯的"为政以德"的思想,以仁德而推行政治。此章虽简略,却涉及到孔子的仁德思想和基本的政治理想。The Chapter "Fan Chi Asks for Knowledge About Crops" in The Analects: Zi Lu is relatively easy to understand; however, discrepancies exist among scholars' interpretations. With reference to Confucius' ideology, educational methods, political philosophy, and personal pursuit for officialdom, this paper tries to fill out the contextual information left out due to the special genre of the analects -- teachings in the form of conversation or dialogue, usually stated in parallel structures and antithesis in order to achieve Confucius' intended meaning and purpose. In this chapter, Confucius has criticized Fan Chi in a way typical of Confucius: teaching in accordance with the student's aptitude and in a progressive way; ideologically, Confucius scolded Fan Chi for his fascination with Shennong's theory, taking farming as the essence of developing a country; Confucius restated his virtue-oriented political ethics, emphasizing education and self-cultivation. This chapter is brief but involves the essence of Confucian political ethics.
