摘　　要：以连云港市图书馆为例,从馆外服务点初期的建立,后期的管理等方面,论述中小型公共图书馆如何立足实际,不断设立新的馆外服务点,逐步构建覆盖城乡的公共图书馆服务网络,从而拓宽图书馆的服务范围,提升服务质量,满足广大读者多元化的文化需求,促进地方经济、文化的建设和发展。Taking Lianyungang Library as an example, this essay discusses, from the point of service station estab- lishment and management, how small and medium public libraries can establish new external service stations con- tinually to build up a public library service network catering to both cities and countryside. Thereby, the libraries can expand the service range, improve service quality, satisfy the multicultural needs of numerous readers and ad- vance the development of local economy and culture.
