摘 要:被称为美国文化之灵魂的宗教对19世纪中期的美国妇女权利运动起到了巨大的推动作用。首先,以妇女为主体的教会组织为大量妇女参与公共生活与公共事务提供了重要的渠道,从而使她们形成一种集体意识。其次,一些少数派教派,如贵格派,坚持性别平等的原则,为平等思想的传播作出了重要的贡献。最后,旨在挑战主流性别意识形态的边缘化宗教派别——震颤派和唯灵论,鼓励和支持妇女在公众面前演讲,担任宗教领袖,为19世纪女性领导人才的培养提供了重要的平台。The religion, which was called the soul of American culture, played a huge promoting roll in the women' s fight movement in the mid 19th. First of all, with women as the main body of the church organization for a large number of women's participation in public life and public affairs provided an important channel, thus made they form a collective consciousness. Secondly, some minority religions, such as Quakers, adhered to the principles of gender equality, which made a contribution to spreading the equality ideology. Last but not the least, some margin- alized religious sects aiming to challenge the mainstream gender ideology-Shaker and Spiritualist-encourage and sup- port women to give a speech in the public and act as leaders of religions, which provided an important platform for training female leaders in the 19th century.
