摘　　要：北京大学图书馆藏有丰富的晚清至民国期间的重要旧报刊资源,"民国旧报刊"特色库的建设为分期分批进行,一期完成了对孤本、残破等较珍贵、稀缺旧报刊的建设,介绍特色数据库概况以及采用的系统软件、数据加工规则和测试维护工作,并提出图书馆在进行报刊特色数据库建设时,一定要重视建设前期的充分准备、中期的严格把关和后期的有效维护。Peking University library has plenty of rare newspapers and periodicals of Republic of China. ROC news- papers and periodicals database will be constructed by different stages. The first phase of rare and scarce newspapers and periodicals has been finished. Its overview and system software, data process and test maintenance work are in- troduced also,and then recommends：when library constructs newspapers and periodicals database,librevry should attach importance to prophase preparation, interim check and later period maintenance.
