摘　　要：我国鄂西地区是土家族苗族聚居地,有着丰富的民族传统体育文化底蕴和多样的民族传统体育运动形式,而少数民族体育又是我国体育的一个重要组成部分。加快少数民族地区体育事业的发展,对少数民族地区经济建设和加强社会主义全面进步有很重要的意义,同时也是加强社会主义精神文明建设,提高国民素质的重要手段。The Exi autonomous prefecture is the habitat of Tujia and Miao national minority.It inculdes the rich culture connotation and various sports form in national tradition sports.What′s more,the national minority sports is also the very important part of our national sports.Speeding up the development of sports in national minority area is not only the vital significance to promote economic development in national minority area and strengthen the comprehensive progress of the enhancement socialism,but also the important way to reinforce the ethical progress of socialist ideological and improve the quality of the whole country.
