浸酯涂硼——中子探测器灵敏层制作方法

摘　　要：介绍了两种价廉、实用的中子探测器浸酯涂硼方法——浸没涂硼和手工刷涂,并给出涂抹细节。对不锈钢片的多次实验表明:浸没涂硼时脂硼比λ的最小值为5.0;手工刷涂时λ的最佳值为0.2,最佳方法是先在待涂面上滴混合液,再撒上硼粉刷涂。采用该方法研制一圆柱形硼衬正比计数管,用标准Am-Be中子源辐照测得了其输出脉冲;用不同厚度聚乙烯管包裹后测得了Am-Be源的中子谱。对中子谱参数的分析表明,两种硼膜制作过程简单、方法可行,为业内人员提供了很有意义的参考。Two economic and practical resin-dipped boron coating methods for neutron detectors were presented,whose names are dip coated boron deposition（DCBD） and hand painted boron deposition（HPBD）.Several experiments on stainless steel sheet show that the minimum of the resin-boron ratio λ in DCBD is 5.0,while the best value of λ in HPBD is 0.2.The better method is that the mixture drops on the coated surface firstly,and then the boron powder is scattered by hand.Finally,a cylindrical boron-lined proportional counter made by using this method was irradiated by a standard Am-Be neutron source,and the output pulses were measured.After the proportional counter was wrapped by PE tubes with different thickness,the neutron spectra of the Am-Be source were measured.By analyzing the parameters of the neutron spectra,it is found that these two manufacture crafts have a simple and feasible process,which would provide the coworkers with meaningful reference.
