摘　　要：认为煤炭主体功能区的提出旨在解决煤炭产业固有的不合理开发利用、煤炭资源面临枯竭、行业转型迫在眉睫等问题。对比煤炭产业、煤炭富集区、煤炭产业集群的概念和特征,结合主体功能区这一战略手段的基本主旨和原则,本文界定了煤炭主体功能区的概念和范畴,并分析得出,除煤炭行业赋予的特征之外,煤炭主体功能区还具有典型的层级特征和点—线—面结合的区域结构特征。The purpose of the coal main functional area is to solve the problems such as un- reasonable development and use, exhaustion of coal resources and the urgency of industry re- structuring. By contrast with the concept and feature of coal industry and combined with the bas- ic rules of main functional area, this article defined the definition and category of the new- brought-up main functional area of coal, still on, the typical hierarchical feature and point-line- plane area structure besides the common features that come from coal industry.
