摘　　要：目前图书馆界普遍强调读者权利的保护和馆员义务的履行,而馆员权利的保护却少有提及。众多馆员权利被损害的事实,反衬了流行理念的缺失。图书馆员权利和义务的关系需要正名,馆员权利的维护是图书馆事业发展的保障之一。While much emphasis is put on the protection of readers＇ rights and fulfillment of librarians＇ responsibilities, little is being discussed about the rights of librarians. Numerous cases reflect the conceptual gap. A new understanding of librarians＇ rights and responsibilities should be gained. And the protection of the latter is also a critical component to guarantee the development of Chinese libraries.
