摘　　要：文章通过对《世界上最古老的行业:古希腊罗马的娼妓与社会》一书分类标引的分析,探讨《中图法》(第四版、第五版)"D73/77各国政治"类目立类的局限性,并提出解决同类问题的建议。Based on the analysis of classification and indexing of the book The worlds oldest profession： the prostitutes of the ancient Greek and Ro- man society, this paper explores the limitations in the category setting of＂D73/77 countries political＂ class of Chinese Library Classification（fourth edi- tion,fifth edition）, and puts forward a proposal to solve similar problems.
