摘　　要：赵炎秋教授的新著《西方文论与文学研究》探索了对西方文化的合理研究和利用的方式,为新世纪西方文论与文学研究的出路和方法提供了一个优秀的范式。深刻的理性洞察、广阔的文化视野和鲜活的发展眼光是这本著作最突出的特点。著作的出版,对西方文学与文化研究的发展有指引道路的作用,对于西方文论与文学的学科建设更是有着积极的意义。Professor Zhao Yanqiu＇s new book The Western Literary Theory and Western Literary Studies which explored the reasonable study methods of the Western culture and provided an excellent paradigm for the way out of the Western literary theory in the new century. Profound insight into the rational, broad cultural perspective and a developing vision is the most prominent feature of this book. The publishing of this book points the way of the Western literary and cultural studies, and for the construction of Western literary theory and Western literary disciplines, it has more positive meaning.
