摘　　要：调解是中国古代传统法律文化的表征之一。黄岩诉讼档案的发现和研究,对近代台州调解的实践在维护宗法社会、了解传统调解的类型和法律效力,以及对有关理论的论定,都有实证意义。同时,在此基础上,对调解作为传统法律文化可以作出历史的和现实的反思。Mediation is one of the representations of the ancient Chinese legal culture. The dis covery and research on Huangyan Litigation Archives have the significance to prove the mediation practice in modern Taizhou in the maintenance of patriarchal society, and to understand the traditional me diation types and its legal effect, and the argument of the theory of the period. At the same time, the mediation as traditional legal culture can make historical and realistic introspection.
