摘　　要：美国工程教育200多年来不断演进的动力,来源于国防建设和产业发展的持续需求。本文基于历史视角,通过梳理美国工程教育演化进程,提炼不同阶段工程教育的主导范式及其变化动因,旨在为我国当前工程教育模式的优化和多元化发展提供有益启示。American education has undergone a continuous development of more than 200 years,which is due greatly to the continuous demand of the national defense construction and industrial development The paper, from the historical perspective makes a review of this development and extracts the guiding paradigm in different developmental stages and the causes of the changes in hope of shedding some lights for the optimization and diversification of China^s engineering education mode.
