端方与清末两江农业的近代转型

摘　　要：端方在两江任职前后达三年半之久,期间他躬身践行西方思想,采取兴办农业教育、开展农业科学试验、设立农会和创办农业公司等诸多措施发展近代农业,直接推动了两江传统农业向近代农业的转型。在两江乃至中国农业现代化史上,端方应有一席之地。Duan Fang had hold a post in Liangjiang area for three and a half years. He practised the thought of learning the West and took a lot of measures such as initiating agricultural education, carrying out agricultural scientific experiments, setting up peasant associations and agricultural companys to develop modern agrieuhure , which directly promoted the transformation from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture in Liangjiang area. Duan Fang should have a place in the history of Liangjiang and Chinese agricuhural modernization.
