摘　　要：从国内学术界对SCI学术评价作用的争论着手,回顾了SCI在中国的引入和应用,并从其本质作用、主要评价指标等方面对SCI的学术评价作用进行了辩证分析,以期为更科学、有效地运用SCI的评价功能提供一些参考和建议。In view of different views on the function of academic evaluation of Science Citation Index(SCI) within Chinese academia,the introduction of SCI into China and its application are reviewed,and the dialectic analysis of the academic evaluation function of SCI is conducted from the perspectives of the fundamental function and main evaluation indices of SCI.The study is helpful to make better use of SCI as an academic evaluation tool.
