摘　　要：作为"残丛小语"的小说,长期以来备受正统文人的轻视。俞樾身为名满天下的经学大师,却热衷于小说的阅读与研究,更是以"销暇日"之名编著了《耳邮》等大批文言小说集,既靠拢通俗,又充斥着浓郁的学究味。这一"雅"与"俗"交融的文化现象反映出俞樾晚年时的矛盾心态,亦能从中窥出清末文坛新变的苗头。Novels were despised by scholars for a long time. But as a famous scholar, YU Yue liked reading and studying novels. he even used the name of ＂Pleasure Day＂ to compile many classical Chinese novels like Hearing and so on, which were full of beth popular and elegant flavors and reflected the contradictory mentality of the author, and from which the change of the late Qing dynasty can be observed.
