高校地理公选课开设的现状与问题初步研究——以“中国地理概论”为例

摘　　要：在高等教育大众化的今天,公选课的开设不仅能满足学生的个性发展,更是高等院校和社会发展的迫切需求。公选课与必修课共同构成了一个完整的高校课程体系,二者缺一不可。必修课是本专业学生学习的基础,而对外开设的公修课是本学科的代言人,是让其他学科的学生了解本学科的一个窗口,所以建设好这个窗口显得尤为重要。但是,在实际的调查中发现,由于公选课中存在课程内容单调,教学方法不当,师资力量不强等问题,使公选课不能很好地发挥其价值。深入探究公选课被忽视的原因,找出合理的解决措施的研究具有重要的意义。本文以"中国地理概论"这门公选课为例,通过问卷调查方式,并结合其他高校地理公选课的开设现状,分析当前地理公选课面临的问题及解决的措施。As the higher education gets more common,the establishment of public elective course not only can meet the students＇ personality development,but also meet the pressing needs of the higher education institutions constructions and social development.Elective and compulsory course together constitute a complete university curriculum system,and neither is dispensable.Compulsory course is the foundation for students to learn professional knowledge,while public elective course is the spokesperson of the discipline,which serve as a window for students majored in other subjects to understand the discipline.Thus,the construction of this window is particularly important.However,by the mean of actual survey,we found that problems as the monotonous contents,inappropriate teaching methods,weak teaching faculty and so on,make public elective course couldn＇t play its full value.It＇s therefore of importance to deeply investigate the reason and find out a reasonable solution for the neglected public elective course.In this study,takeing the public elective course of Chinese geographic Introduction as an example,we analyzed the current problems faced by the geographic public elective course and proposed some rational measures by the way of questionnaire survey and combining with the status quo of geography public elective course established in other the college.
