摘　　要：记述采自云南西部蝗虫 1新种 ,即大尾片卵翅蝗 Caryanda macrofurcula,sp.nov.。模式标本保存于大理师范高等专科学校生化系及西南林学院昆虫标本室。In the present paper, one new species of the genus Caryanda Stl from western Yunnan province is described. The type specimens are separately deposited in the Department of Biochemistry, Dali Teachers College and the Insect Collection, Southwest Forestry College. Caryanda macrofurcula, sp. nov. (Figs.1～4) This new species is closely related to Caryanda quadrata Bi et Xia, but differs from the latter in: 1) posterior margin of pronotum with wide shallow concave, prozona longer than metazona about 2.2 times in male or 2.9 times in female; 2) posterior margin of penultimate tergite of male with upright, large and triangular furcula; 3) male supra anal plate wide scutated, with middle longitudinal sulcus in basal half of the whole length, posterior margin obtuse angulate; 4) hind margin of subgenital plate of female triangular in the middle; 5) body colour dark green. Length of body: ♂ 15.5 mm～16.5 mm, ♀19.0 mm～20.5 mm. Length of pronotum: ♂ 2.5 mm～3.0 mm, ♀ 3.5 mm～3.7 mm. Length of elytra: ♂2.6 mm～2.9 mm, ♀2.6 mm～3.0 mm. Length of hind femur: ♂8.0 mm～9.0 mm, ♀10.5 mm～11.5 mm. Holotype ♂, Tengchong, 1750 m, Yunnan, 25-Ⅶ-1999, collected by Mao Ben yong, Paratypes 21♂♂, 12♀♀, as holotype; 3♂♂,1♀, Baoshan, 1750 m, Yunnan, 26-Ⅶ-1999, by Xu Jishan and Yang Zizhong; 1♂, Dali, 1970m, Yunnan, 2-Ⅷ-1999, by Yang Zizhong.
