摘　　要：Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher died, at the age 87, after she suffered a stroke, her spokesman announced on April 8. Baroness Thatcher, nicknamed the ＂Iron Lady,＂ was Conservative prime minister from 1979 to 1990. She was the first woman in Britain to hold the post.Thatcher visited China five times between 1977 and 1995. She made one visit as her country＇s opposition leader and then two visits as Britain＇s prime minister.
