摘　　要：指出电缆工业"以铝节铜"是国际性趋向,其进程据各国的实际情况有所不同,但只能随着科技的发展、人们习惯势力的改变而渐进式地发展;当前中国电缆工业扩大电工用铝的应用,其方向在电工用铝合金,研究开发电工用铝合金的实质和基础在具有真正自主创新的合金材料的杆材和线材,而不是绞制的导线或芯线;扩大应用主要体现在材料的品种、性能和质量的稳定性上;我国电缆工业发展电工用铝和铝合金有技术潜力,但生产装备急需升级换代,否则将影响产品的质量和推广应用。Although the process is different for different countries, saving copper by using aluminum is the worldwide trend now. The progress is step by step as the development of technology and the change of people＇ s usage habit. The direction of aluminum usage in Chinese cable industry is the expansive application of aluminum alloy. The essential research and development on aluminum alloy for electrical purposes is how to get the new alloy rod and wire, other than the stranded conductor. The expansive application of aluminum alloy is depended by the category, performance and steady quality of new alloy materials. There is a technical potential for development of aluminum alloy in Chinese cable industry. Now there is demand for the equipment upgrade in China,or there wiU be negative situation for the quality and expansive application of aluminumalloy.
