摘　　要：生态文学最初起源于西方社会,经过四十多年的发展,生态文学研究现已进入其蓬勃发展阶段。从西方生态文学的发展历程、及其研究现状两个角度对西方生态文学的研究状况进行了详尽分析,指出了生态文学研究的历史任务及发展趋势,旨在为中国生态文学的进一步发展提供借鉴,为人类摆脱生态危机和精神危机,真正实现社会的可持续发展找到出路。Ecological literature first appeared in western countries. After forty years development, ecological literary research has already entered the stage of rapid development. From the aspects of its developing course and recent research progress, the thesis analyzes in detail western countries＇ ecological literary research. Finally, the thesis points out its task and developing trend in the future. The purpose is to provide a reference for its further development and find a way to get rid of people＇s ecological crisis and spiritual crisis and really achieve the society＇s sustainable development.
