原型与发展——厦门大学校园更新与建筑设计解析

摘　　要：厦门大学由陈嘉庚先生于1921年创办,校园依山傍海、环境优美。创办之初,陈嘉庚先生主持了校园建设,其整体布局与单体建筑凸显出强烈的地域风格(被誉为"嘉庚风格")。本文在梳理校园发展脉络和综述嘉庚风格特征的基础上,对近年来校园有机更新与建筑设计中的一些实践做总结性研究与反思性探讨,归纳出原型延续与创新发展之间的平衡这一设计要点。Established in 1921 by Mr. Tan Kah Kee, the main campus of Xiamen University enjoys a beautiful environment, near the mountain and by the sea. During the establishment of Xiamen University, Mr. Tan Kah Kee took charge of the campus design and gave the campus an unique regional style -- the ＂Tan Kah Kee style＂ . Based on a review of the renovation process of XMU campus and a summary of features of Tan Kah Kee style, this thesis presents a overall research as well as a critical retrospection on campus renovation and practice in relevant architectural design. The conclusion reached is that the key point lies in the balance between the continuation of the prototype and the innovation as well as development.
