摘　　要：中国传统文学作品中的忏悔意识不强,然而在现代文学中,那些标志着中国文学最高成就的文学作品,几乎都渗透着强烈而深刻的忏悔意识。中国现代文学忏悔意识的形成,既源于作家的个性气质,也有其特定的社会文化背景根源,同时与基督教文化的影响不无关系。Chinese traditional literary works lack confession consciousness. However, those writers who mark the highest achievement of modern Chinese literature are permeated by a strong and profound repent consciousness. The formation of modern Chinese literature confession consciousness, owes both to the writer＇s personality and to its particular social cultural background. Meanwhile the formation is also related to influence of Christian culture.
