摘  要:设计并研制了一种基于反馈光纤环(FFR)和可饱和吸收体(SA)的双波长单纵模(SLM)掺铒光纤激光器(EDFL)。保偏布拉格光纤光栅(PM-FBG)作为激光器的波长选择元件,可产生两个波长激光的输出;通过仿真,选择两个30∶70的光耦合器和一段长为1m的EDF组成的FFR,用以增大纵模间隔,稳定激光的运转;一段长3m的未泵浦EDF作为SA,形成自跟踪窄带滤波器,与FFR一起确保激光器工作在SLM状态。在室温下,泵浦源功率为400mW时,得到了中心波长分别为1 545.45和1 545.90nm、峰值功率分别为8.158和8.898dBm以及3dB线宽均小于0.02nm的双波长SLM激光,输出光信噪比(OSNR)达到60dB。在3h内,双波长激光最大峰值功率波动小于0.45dB。调节偏振控制器,可实现单波长输出,最大峰值功率分别可达13.941和15.432dBm。An erbium-doped fiber laser (EDFL) based on a passive feedback fiber ring (FFR) and satura- ble absorber (SA) has been proposed, which effectively supports dual-wavelength single-longitudinal- mode (SLM) laser operation. The polarization-maintaining fiber Bragg grating (PM-FBG) is used as the wavelength selection device to produce dual-wavelength. Two 30 :70 optical couplers and a 1 m unpumped erbium-doped fiber are selected to make up the passive feedback fiber ring by calculation and simulation,which is used to increase the interval of modes and steady the laser operation. The 3 m un- pumped erbium-doped fiber forms a passive self-tracking filter to ensure a stable single-longitudinal- mode fiber laser operation together with the passive feedback fiber ring. At room temperature, under 400 mW pump power, dual-wavelength single-longitudinal-mode laser is achieved, the 3 dB line widths are both less than 0.02 urn,the centre wavelengths are separately 1 545.45 nm and 1 545.90 nm,the peak power values are separately 8. 158 dBm and 8. 898 dBm,and the optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR) of output is about 60 dB. Within 3 hours,the maximum fluctuation of each peak power is less than 0. 45 dB,which shows that the proposed fiber laser is quite stable. Moreover, by adjusting the polarization controller,the maximum peak power values of single-wavelength are up to 13.941 dBm and 15. 432 dBm.
