摘 要:空间数据不一致性是指空间数据对象之间存在的矛盾或冲突。空间数据不一致性一直以来都是国际地理信息科学领域的一个基础研究问题,亦是空间数据质量评价的一个重要指标。目前,国内外学者就空间数据不一致性问题进行了大量的探讨,在不一致性成因、分类、表达、探测、处理及评价等方面都取得了较好的进展,并各有侧重点。为了更好地开展该方面的研究,系统地总结已有的空间数据不一致性研究成果,尤其是最新的一些进展,指出若干有待进一步研究的问题。Data quality of geo-spatial data has been widely recognized as one of the most critical issues in geographical information applications. It is a key dimension of spatial data suitability assessment, including accuracy, precision, uncertainty, compatibility, consistency, completeness, availability and timeliness recorded in the lineage data. In the last two decades, the topic of data quality has attracted much attention in the GIS community. Efforts have been systematically devoted to investigating various aspects in spatial databases. Among the various problems raised, the issue of geo-spatial consistency has received attentions over years, especially for the issue of topological consistency, which is crucial for computer-based spatial analysis, graphical display and the reliability of results from spatial operations, queries and analysis. In fact, consistencies can be classified into structural consistency, geometric consistency and topological consistency. Those violations and contradictions of structure, geometry and topology are called inconsistencies. It is ideal to make geo-spatial data successive in both temporal dimension and space dimen- sion, as well as to keep its contents consistent. For this purpose, this paper focuses on the progress of geo-spatial inconsistencies research. A lot of efforts in this paper are devoted to summarizing and analyzing the contributions and shortcomings of each progress on causes, classification, expression, detection, handling and assessment of inconsistency. At the end, the conclusions of this paper have been drawn. Such a summary of geo-spatial data inconsistencies research would stimulate further investigation on more advanced inconsistency detecting methods and new approaches to keeping geo-spatial data consistent.
