摘　　要：华侨华人研究是暨南大学重要的学术传统和特色。"高等学校创新能力提升计划"启动实施后,暨南大学紧抓机遇,牵头组建了华侨华人研究协同创新中心。该中心以华侨华人在中国和平发展中的作用这一重大战略性需求为导向,以涉侨研究与运用的机制体制改革为核心,选取了六大重点发展方向,在华侨华人研究创新能力提升方面做出了积极探索。Overseas Chinese studies is the academic traditions and characteristics of Jinan University. As the ＂In- novation Capability Promotion P/an of University＂ implemented, Jinan University has seized the opportunity to lead the formation of Collaborative Innovation Center for Overseas Chinese Studies. The center is oriented toward the strategic need of the role of overseas Chinese in China＇s peaceful development, centers on the mechanism reform re- lated to overseas Chinese studies with six key development directions and makes actively probe in the innovation ca- pacity of Overseas Chinese studies.
